Following Hurricane Milton’s landfall in Florida, crews in Tampa are using boats to conduct rescues, including saving more than 100 people from an assisted living facility. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said that while the area is not on the coast, rain from Milton falling on ground already saturated by Hurricane Helene has led to extensive flooding.

De'Santis should be fired for not taking care of the infrastructure of Florida. Hurricanes and flooding is a part of life and he should have focused his attention on an effective drainage system. I wonder if he was affected by these surges and whether his home is still in tact. People like De Santis will ensure they are never affected while the other Floridians who voted for him and others like him are left to fend for themselves.

Why would they leave there cars there knowing it would flood. They should have drove to a bridge and stayed in there cars during the storm
