Over the past fifty years, air travel has undergone a dramatic transformation. In the second episode of Experts by Decade, we delve into the experiences of four flight attendants who have witnessed the evolution of their profession from 1976 to today. They share stories of the iconic 747 lounges, where passengers enjoyed live piano performances by renowned artists, the advent of in-flight movies, and the most desirable layover destinations. Despite the current state of flying resembling a commuter bus, the introduction of lie-flat seats remains a significant advancement in passenger comfort.

  1. This video is intriguing – seeing how well-to-do ppl would fly. It also makes me very sad. Thank you for letting us know how well ppl used to have it…we started flying (coach) in the late 90s, just early enough to catch the end of the warm peanuts and warm blankets/pillows service 😮‍💨😮‍💨

  2. This needs to be a TV show showcasing their stories. Many married rich men they met during their days as flight attendants. This is how Kris Kardashian (the mom) met her first husband.
