  2. tommy had this album since december 2023 so he was never going to put million dollar baby on it especially because it has nothing to do with the theme of the LP it’s so sad seeing ppl look past him because he didnt put their favorite song in his album. also the production is some of the best i’ve heard from R&B a 3 is pretty disrespectful

  3. See i looked at it from the pov of "this is supposed to be a debut album. I feel that a key aspect of a debut album is that youre letting youre audience get to know you more so i honestly gave the album a 6.5 as its the only music coming out rn filling that pop soul itch left behind in the mid 90s and its an album that definitely gives us more of inside look into his mind

  4. Most, if not all of the album was recorded last year. Tommy’s been teasing this album for the past year and a half. His EP The Rush from last year was one my favorite releases last year, so I recommend people start there. It’s way better than this album, tho this album isn’t bad by any means. The production is both varied and stale. Varied bc of the genres and rhythms covered, stale bc of the overall sound, and especially bc of the drums. So many of the songs on this thing were a better drum kit away from being genuinely great. Tommy’s vocals are also take it or leave it. As a longtime Tommy fan, it’s not a great album, but it’s also not bad either.
