my question is why is zunesha needed to reopen wano, a volcanic plateau in the ocean, what if zunesha looks so withered because its malnourished, a beast that big would consume the ocean, what if the world wasn't allows surrounded entirely by ocean at one point, if wano is on top of undersea mountain, those are massive, the largest mountain in the world isn't everest, it's the main volcano island of hawaii, which descends more than 30,000 feet beneath the sea.

What if Im was the former Nakama of Joy Boy and betrayed him ala Judas style or was Joy Boy himself/ wished to be Joy Boy thus the former namaka of Zunesha, and the straw hat in marygeois actually belonged either to Zunesha or was the treasure of his former best friend. This would also be interesting because it would give Im motive to pursue the Gomu Gomu no mi (I can even imagine some kind of backstory where the two of them joke about how the power of the Gomu Gomu is so useless thus giving it its fake name known throughout history). It could add so much depth and tragedy to Im’s character.
