  1. I have tried out both phones. Pixel has an outstanding camera but just for photos. Even the most reviewers compare and say the video quality is good Pixel is really bad when it comes to tricky lighting conditions for video. Apart from that Pixel has a great display compare to iPhone. but overall I would still go with the iPhone just for the hardware quality ecosystem and its international warranty. I found pixel 9 pro feeling not so premium even though it looks very similar to iPhone. The way Apple devices are crafted is so perfect compare to Google devices. Speakers and Pixel are nowhere close to an iPhone speakers. Even though it’s stereo one speaker sounded more loud which is quite weird. I had pixel devices previously but Google always uses the cheapest hardware for pixel phones the lens is quite easy to get scratched and prone to breakage. even though Google promises seven years of update I don’t really think this phone is going to leave for more than four years. and again the quality of Pixel devices has degraded so much compared to the snapdragon versions. they removed photosphere and brought many useless AA functions. Night mode Astro photography on Pixel now takes four minutes to take a single photo compare to 1 minute on my Pixel 3A which was snapdragon. most of the photos taken in portrait mode has blur issues and imperfections. The phone cannot be connected to a MacBook and copied files from it. Google doesn’t offer ADB toll on Mac anymore. for all these reasons I added to stay with iPhone again this year.🎉

  2. I'm going to possibly buy an iPhone 16.

As someone who's had a pixel 8. The AI is very, very useful and I'm open to what Apple is going to do and compare the 2 phones.

I have a feeling that Google will win but I'll definitely have an open mind. .

As far as refresh goes. I personally wish you could adjust. I hate that 120 drains the battery. I personally switch between 60-120. I don't notice a difference.

  3. Two AI features on the Pixel that I use quite often are the call screening for unknown callers and the "hold for me" when I call a business and am put in queue to be answered. Good examples of AI making life easier

  4. I love choice, freedom and flexibility and hence pixel/android all day. The reason being the level of choices I can make to try exotic devices without worrying about the ecosystem.
As a phone iphone might be better but as a ecosystem I don't like to be caged by a tech.
Just imagine a few years back iphone had a lightening port and ipad had type C. If it was not for EU, apple would never change and this would have been such a pain.
But if you are in the ecosystem you can't do much and it feels like being caged. No matter the cage is made of gold or iron, its still a cage.

  5. I am a pixel fan n have bought couple of pixels…and was going to upgrade to pixel 9…but pixel 9 performance of G4 is not that great..if you tried geek bench reference its just half than iphone…plus pixel 9!has heating issuesss ..so if both phones cost almost the same then gomfor iphone 16… instead of pixel 9..
