Which unit should we send back in time next and where?
It would be useless. F-22 is very advance for that era. It needs a regular maintenance after each flight and other equipment to operate.
It’s like running windows 95 in modern laptops without drivers. Equipment and tech won’t be able to recognise even what is hdmi and usb-c port in f-22.
F-22 never operate by itself, it needs other sophisticated advance system to guide, co-ordinate, operate and navigate the f-22.

If any type of support/fuel was actually available, it would be much more valuable to send back an SR-71 for better intel gathering. Its about the only thing that would truly be able to navigate accurately on its own.
Asking as a simple civilian. Does the F22 even needs to shoot? I am under the impression that the sonic boom alone produced by just flying by would be enough to send the German planes crashing.
