Was dating a new guy and finally able to speak up about my preferences and gently but solidly assert my boundaries. Finally able to choose me and not contort myself out of fear of rejection. Relationship isn't moving forward and I feel so good! (Not devastated) It feels so good to stand for myself and honor myself and accept myself…regardless of anyone else's opinion or story of me. Mary jo, you are so right! The narcissistic energy is always so misunderstood.. narcissistic energy lives off of taking a person's light, love, peace, and joy. If you fight or argue with them, you already lost. They have cut you and you're bleeding. Narcissist latch to us because they are getting something from us; supply, security, services, or sex. Narcissists don't have empathy because they have blocked their feelings. Everything they do is a mind battle. And guilt is the key torment that keeps a true loving person wanting to help them… But they don't have love in their heart.. their heart is closed. Their minds wants what energy they can get from you. Set up Boundaries for yourself!! And choose you. You can not stay with them! Make a plan and save yourself!
