Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu signaled to the world from the United Nations on Friday that the multiple conflicts in the Middle East were far from resolved, and he vowed to continue battling the Lebanese Hezbollah and defeat Hamas in the Gaza Strip until “total victory.”
On Thursday, the leader of the Palestinian Authority and a top Lebanese official both made their cases to fellow leaders — cases that included harsh words for Israel as well. Mahmoud Abbas’ first words to the General Assembly were a sentence repeated three times in reference to Gaza: “We will not leave. We will not leave. We will not leave.”

  2. Isrel say, who cares whether you leave or dont leave but by allowing the terorists your won country had been destroyed by yourself along with your own people.. You should see the world that what things happened around the world when they allowed negativity.. Atleast you can see your neighbours like, Soudi, qatar and berhien like countries. See now it would take next 50 years to reconstruct your won Gaaza. Be gentlemen not a blindless person.

  9. Untill a person acknowledges both sides its just bullshit. Yes israel uses a lot of collateral damage and yes hamas and hezbollah never seeked peace and want to rape torture and murder israeli civilians. Untill someome also acknowledges the problem of human shields the cost od war will not go away. Ive seen a lot of wars be reported on and talked about but i have never seen such one sided raporting and opinions as ive seen with this war even though this is the longest conflict in the middle east with a lot of wrong on both sides yet everyone only picks one side and doesnt want to hear anything else. This world has lost its mind and i really hope its just a special occassion

  22. If Israel is the superior state then it should be calling most loudly for peace. But what does Netanyahu say? “We punch back.” And the cheers are at the expense of lost lives.

    Stand down, Israel, and lead by example. Retaliation is a losing game.
