  1. What is almost never shown is the AFTER effects of flooding and the messes they leave behind, like inches and even feet of silt, mud, and sludge that just covers everything.

  2. The news media isn't giving us the whole truth people. The Black Mountains of North Carolina have been devastated! Montreat and Swannanoa are gone, houses are on fire, entire communities have been wiped out from flooding and mudslides, and the bodies are being left behind! Where the hell are the reports on this stuff and where the hell is Cooper?! Any doubts about what I've said, contact the Black Mountains Police.

  3. My Republican friends called to talk about god instead of climate change. They'd talk about why god was doing this, and i reminded them the red states were hit hard, too. In fact, the red states are still fixing damage from last year. They forget when they start dividing colors .

  5. What a terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to the victims and their families

Perhaps itโ€™s time that republicans, conservatives, and big oil corporations finally faced up to the reality of human-caused global warming and its devastating societal, environmental, and economic impact on ALL of us?

    Reality spares no one

We ignore it at our peril

  6. I live in Asheville NC. Fortunately enough I was one of the people who lost power at the worst. I'm very familiar with the Biltmore Village. It's such a tragedy to see it the way it is now. This could take a couple years at the most to recover from but most importantly RIP to the lives lost. I am in Greenville until Saturday but I'm scared to go back.
