  2. Rishi the Indian prime minister gave 500 mil to an Indian company who then took all the knowledge for themselves. Opened a new blast furnace just last week and promised us an arc furnace and a jobs guarante for a whopping 7 years. We've been fucked.

  3. Britain's contribution to global warming is negligible in comparison to China and India and to transport steel by ship from these countries, cancels out any gains, as does the transporting of logs from north America by ship, in order to use electricity to convert this to wood pellets for power generation. . .totally stupid!! 😳

  4. Boo hoo, port talbot will lose 1000s of workers, Port Talbot town will suffer…. oh well, never mind. They didn't care when Llanwern in Newport was closing, they all sent messages on the coils. They did not care, nothing at all so why should anyone else care about Port Talbot?? I clearly don't care. Newport as never been the same since, and is still struggling, so Port Talbot can suffer just as Newport did. Karma!!!

  5. the problem is employment laws private sector cant afford to employ people like the public sector, public sector have this vision every body is making money by letting them work from home 4 days a week and using every sick day available then sues their boss if they have hurt their finger then they complain when they cant get a skilled worker to do work on one of their houses , skilled trades are dying every body wants to make a fortune with a finger , britain has stopped producing and that means we will go backwards

  6. Its not losing a million a day – shareholders in power & supplies wanted more greedy people like Sunak & Farage ( both want pensioners to spend more on power so they get a better dividend )

  7. Meanwhile Starmer is wondering why no-one has a job. Skilled work is all gone, and entry level jobs get snapped up by immigrants. I litterally cant get a job riding uber eats bikes, because its way cheaper to let multiple immigrants (most of whom arent legal, only the account holder) run one account.

  8. Today we sacrificed Port Talbot on the alter of climate change, Saint Greta will be celebrating. We are losing the ability to produce virgin steel needed for warships and submarines whilst Tata recently opened a plant that will produce more than double the CO2 than Port Talbot all I can say is cheers Keir and Co

  9. This country is only interested in services, not manufacturing on any level.
Just because the coal is getting burnt in another country to make steel doesn’t mean we are a more considerate country towards climate. Passing the buck springs to mind.
We are fouls. We are doomed.
