The Ukrainian Armed Forces may have used British long-range Storm Shadow missiles for strikes against Russia for the first time, Russian Z-channels claim.

Missiles with a range of up to 300 km, which Ukraine has been receiving since 2023 but can only use in combat operations on its territory, were “shot down” over the village of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region, Romanov Light Telegram channel wrote.
İt is also reported on the alleged destruction of Storm Shadow. Romanov Light suggested that the authorities will not officially confirm the use of British missiles, so as not to devalue Vladimir Putin’s “red lines” once again.

“Treugolnik”, the other Telegram channel also confimed destruction of Storm Shadow over Rostov. But then channel corrected its reports. The channel writes that Ukrainian-made “Neptune” missiles, which had previously been used to strike the area around the Crimean Bridge, as well as oil depots in the Krasnodar Territory, were shot down over Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

Ukraine last week handed over to Western countries a list of possible targets for strikes deep into Russia, which could use either Storm Shadow or American ATACMS missiles, whose range for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is currently limited to a radius of 165 km. According to Reuters sources, the list included command centers, fuel and weapons depots, as well as places where Russian army personnel are concentrated.

According to the American Institute for the Study of War, in the event of a positive decision for Kiev, at least 245 Russian military facilities, as well as 9 large cities with a total population of almost 5 million people, could be in the zone of destruction of Ukrainian strikes. Among them are two million-plus cities: Rostov-on-Don, population 1.14 million people and Voronezh,1.046 million.
However, so far, no decision has been made on long-range strikes: on September 16, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, summing up the meeting between President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Kier Starmer, said that the United States is not yet ready to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons to strike Russian targets. Until now the Storm Shadow missiles have been limited to Russian targets operating inside Ukraine, as well as in occupied Crimea. The missiles were likely used in the largest Ukrainian attack on the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea fleet last year at Sevastopol.

  10. Russian Dictator Putin can dictate against his own people & country only but not to other people or countries. When Pres Putin kills his fellow Russian he isn't liable under Russian communist law but not under the democratic laws of his neighbors, the west & the free world. No communist dictator for life is above the international war crimes law. You can run but can't hide forever. The British storm shadow & American atacms are gonna seek & search you so run as fast as you can but I doubt whether you can hide from their prying & eagle sharp eyes.

  13. I Thought that Neither the UK nor the US has given the Ukraine permission to use the long range missile systems on targets within Russia. I think it is only fair that Ukraine be allowed to use the best weapons against Russia. I think it is important that the Russian people know the Putin is lying about the Ukraine soldiers being right wing neo-Nazis. I think Trump should support the Ukraine for doing their best and denounce Puting for using the threat of Nuclear weapons to extort democracies.

  16. Trump is a real jackass, and I find it unbelievable any American Patriot would vote for this criminal. If Russia is not stopped in Ukraine, we could easily end up sending American boys to the European battlefields. Russia will not stop at Ukraine if we allow Putin to take it. He will commit genocide on the Ukrainian people and rebuild his forces and move on to the next country. Trump hasn't the wisdom to see that and neither do all those supporting him. What twisted mind comes up with, "their eating the cats and dogs?"

  45. The British is very happy and proud of their storm shadow missile being successful in attacking Russia mainland.

    But one day,
    the Russians will overcome the technology and will be able to destroy this missile before arriving destination.

    Where are their leopards, abrahams, etc.

    Those doing their best to humiliate Russia in battle will regret later.

    Britain so much put their last hope in NATO,
    but a day is near when something more horrible will hit the UK and NATO won't be there to fight for her.
