A great classic comedy with good characters and lots of witty dialog. Not so much gut-busting laugh-out-loud stuff, but it will have you smiling throughout and will get you to even think a bit.

I love this film but have always been bewildered by the choice to have him end up with that awful scatterbrained sister. He has much better chemistry and is a better match with the other sister.

It's wonderful how they remained friends after they got divorced. This movie was made 3 years after Carole Lombard and William Powell divorced, and 3 years before she married Clark Gable. Then she was married three years to Clark Gable before she died in a plane crash . Powell and Gable we're both crushed by her death.
