At 9:37 the hunter hits the like fins of uth duna and the damage icon is different. It's not the regular orange numbers but they are blue with an armor symbol next to it, most likely symbolize that they are hitting uth duna's armor and the damage is weakened
I hope the nest the congalala is sleeping in can be contest by other monsters like doshaguma or azauros or something in that nature

The second monster when talking about the snake is a Rathian. You can tell by the tail and its head right next to the tail

Surprised they didn't point out the unique damage icon when hitting Uth Duna, I assume that symbol means you're damaging her Water Veil that is mentioned in the description. I assume other monsters that cover themselves in stuff, like Barroth/Jyura or even the auras from Teo/Luna and Kushala probably also use that symbol, indicating some type of special protection on them. It's a nice indication. Maybe also if (God Forbid…) Nergi returns his spikes will have a similar indication.
I am glad they are prioritizing performance. Some of us don't have the doe to make 1080p so! :/

I'm pretty sure the whole flying wyvern and maybe snake wyvern thing is Arkveld and a depiction of it wrapping up Uth Duna like we saw in the trailer

I noticed how they teleported during the fight with the monkey but I bet it’s not part of a quest. I’m thinking during a particular hunt or quest you’ll need farcaster but if it’s an expedition u can just bounce
I can’t believe we have to RNG decorations again. That’s the 1 thing I absolutely hated in MH World Iceborne. It’s not fun to forcefully randomize progression.
Question for everyone: Do you prefer RNG decos or RNG talismans?
