  1. Ctesibius Of Alexandria great inventor created his most famous invention the water clock … The more than you know
And yup Ptolemaîos Philádelphosson of Alexander ruled Egypt during this period

  2. I would guess the governance system was changed because of enslavement system. Imagine all the diplomats you would need and the planning to strip all the titles but one governor, to get the enslaved population into a specific province.

And you get Julii roman legionaires icons everywhere because it is not Egypt: Total war 😊

  3. What is great about you Khan of steppe is your 11 years my senior and you still have a fresh youthful mind and willingness to learn and that makes you awesome Bro 😎 Let’s hope you use that youthful mind to learn how to use Calvary by the time we get to TW Pharoah! You’ll be 57 by then and I’ll still be thinking I can pull off kick flips off my skate board on YouTube resulting in my children disowning me and wishing they were adopted.

  4. The lighthouse reduces the damage caused by storms by half for the faction that holds it and somehow not a radius around it which I guess is to account for all the campaign stuff, the movement points seem to increase by 10% but it seems to use the deprecated action points system for its calculations so it could just be the storms. Command adds morale, influence also used to give additional chance to hit but the morale goes pretty crazy.

As for links, I wish yt didn't autofilter them :s

  5. I would not class archers as indirect fire, Indirect fire is aiming and firing a projectile without relying on a direct line of sight. So you would associate this with artillery, famously Mortar fire.

  6. Interesting that you are doing two playthroughs like you did from the 20th anniversary for Medieval: Total War.

Was wondering if you picked Egypt faction because of your Medieval Egypt playthrough or is that just a coincidence?

  7. I never used agents much in Rome, the cost, upkeep, dying of old age and the long travel distance and times between settlements, not to mention the ludicrous amounts of micromanagement with a large number of them made it non viable.

I just used watch towers, cheaper to build, no upkeep. Nist had to have one or two family members going around building them
