IXION is an upcoming sci-fi survival city builder / colony management game that takes some core principles from Frostpunk and launches them into space. From a compelling, mysterious narrative centred around the end of a sustainable earth, to a focus on resource management, survival, and human nature, IXION has piqued my interest. We’ll be diving into some gameplay from the Steam Next Fest demo and highlight key details that show how IXION will play when it releases later this year. IXION could be quite a unique sci-fi city builder set in space, and with Frostpunk acting as a bit of an inspiration (as per the developers themselves), there’s a lot of potential here.

If you want to keep an eye on IXION, don't forget to add it to your wishlist – https://store.steampowered.com/app/1113120/IXION/ ! I had a good time with the demo, and I can't wait to see how it ramps up from there. I could always use more moral dilemmas in my day-to-day. Enjoy!
I want to ask a question will you ever go back to planet zoo or are you finished
This game needs to drop already. I loved the concept and the demo.
When are you going to make a TW3 series I know it is well bad… but what can you do
Sick
Hadnt heard about this one
Another great review. Looking forward to seeing more of this game.
I hope to see you play this on the channel. Also, we blew up the Moon or in Science we call that an Oopsie Doodle.
Glad you're covering this on PE. Hope you'll do a play through at some point. Also one for Galactic Civ IV 🤞🏼
I feel there is a bit of Cliff Empire influence, like it so far cant wait to play it.
I hope it improves on Frostpunk, its a great game, but once you've beaten a scenario, there is no re-playability. Also Id like to see more than two fanatical roads in the game, like, not just different dystopian flavors, but a few hopeful or neutral resolutions, that might make the scenario even harder to manage in some aspects but isn't completely shooting yourself in the foot. When it comes to Sci fi games I enjoy more complexity in the morality than what I would expect out of the 1700s. Here is hoping they can make it happen. Also as the station has sections, it be cool if some sort of co-op multiplayer could be arranged with that, or maybe even a fleet mechanic.
Regarding the name I believe it's named like a planet from Dune famous for technology
Yep, this is looking pretty interesting.
If you haven't played the game here's a SPOILER FOR YOU

damn it man, i have to stop following PartyElite i have a steam wishlist a mile long because of this channel lol
3:16 that's not a space station, that's the space ship itself. It has those big engines and the rings are there to provide artificial gravity since the journey is gonna be a long one, I mean, nobody wants to lose muscle mass and bone density due to microgravity lol, btw this game looks really good
A compelling narrative, sets a game aside from its lessor fellows.
I loved te concept of Frostpunk, but sadly the execution and the lack of UI modification, small text on bright white backgrounds, made it, sadly, unplayable for me.
Ixion seems to offer something similar, but better.
hello. how to download and play knights of honor 2? please link. thank you.
Wasn't the launch of the ships drive what made life on earth unsustainable in the demo?
Pls do some humankind pls soon pls I have been waiting 5 months…………..
pls
It reminds me of Tyco
I would say "Eeks Eon".
Very interested in this title.
Which is why you would never use an experimental engine near Earth, Event Horizon.
I wasnt sure if it would be something for me, and im still not. But the fleet management and narrative make me want to try it.
Frostpunk isn't exactly the reference I was hoping for, I disliked the strategy element of the game because it's a very linear path to success instead of allowing multiple options to succeed.
Can't wait for Knights of Sidonia mod for it.
Looks meh
I know this game is inspired by Frostpunk, but I feel like this game is inspired by Cliff Empire
Pretty cringe premise ngl
Shut up and take my money 😀
Game looks awesome, thanks for introducing it to us.
