How Airbus A350 DESTROYED the 777X Shocked Everyone! Here’s Why
Boeing is building a new secret weapon that aims to replace the Airbus A3 50 and even A3 80 will be introduced next year.
But hilariously, Airbus somehow gave a big slap to Boeing for that ambition. Find out in today’s episode of Flig Avia: How Airbus A3 50 crushed Boeing’s Secret Weapon ‘the triple 7X’.

777X and A350’s overview
How Airbus A350 DESTROYED the 777X Shocked Everyone! Here’s Why
The Boeing triple 7X is the largest twinjet ever built. Its enormous engines and unprecedented wingspan promise unmatched fuel efficiency, ushering in a new era of high-capacity, long-range flying. Although it has taken flight, it won’t join airline fleets until around 2025, though this timeline could change.
Meanwhile, Airbus’s A3 50 is now the largest widebody aircraft they produce, following the end of A3 80 production. Constructed with advanced composite materials, the A3 50 is the lightest widebody in production, which Airbus claims results in 25 percent lower operating costs and quieter, more efficient operation.
While the Boeing triple 7X is progressing through its testing schedule, it has not yet been delivered to any airlines. In contrast, the Airbus A3 50 has been in service since 20 15, with over 600 units operated by at least 40 carriers worldwide.

The triple 7X is initially being developed as the tripe 7 dash 9, with plans for a smaller triple 7 dash 8 version and a potential stretched triple 7 dash 10X if demand warrants it. Notably, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa are preparing to receive the triple 7 dash 8 Freighter. The A3 50 comes in two variants: the A3 50-900 and the A3 50-1000. The A3 50-900 entered service in January 20 15 with Qatar Airways, and the A3 50-1000 followed in February 20 18, also with Qatar Airways.
As of May 20 24, the A3 50 program has received 1308 firm orders from 60 customers, with 602 delivered, primarily the smaller -900 type. Besides, the Freighter variant A3 50F also has 55 orders to date, but there are no deliveries yet.

Boeing also reports 481 orders for the triple 7X, though this may be inaccurate as some airlines, like Emirates, have swapped triple 7X orders for other aircraft without adjustments in Boeing’s reporting. Thus, while the A3 50 leads in orders, it’s quite an unfair comparison due to its longer availability.
The A3 50 and triple 7X both incorporate remarkable next-generation technology that enhances fuel efficiency and passenger comfort within their advanced widebody designs. The triple 7X, set to be the world’s largest twin-engine jet, incorporates advancements from the 7 8 7 Dreamliner. It boasts the largest wingspan of any commercial aircraft and unique folding wingtips for better airport compatibility. The triple 7X is powered by the G E 9 X engines, the largest and most efficient aircraft engines at present, utilizing composite fan blade technology for greater thrust and reduced fuel consumption. Passengers will enjoy a more spacious cabin, expansive windows, optimal pressurization, ambient lighting, and enhanced design.

  1. But yet, Airbus is finding out really fast there are potentially serious issues with the Trent XWB-97 engine, as Cathay Pacific found out. No wonder why Emirates won't buy the A350-1000 until Rolls Royce addresses that issue.

  2. AIRBUS A350 destroying the BOEING 777X ? Uhhh…. I think this is because of QANTAS that unhappy with BOEING 777X for the project sunrise until the QANTAS choose AIRBUS A350-1000 xwb/ulr for the project sunrise future over the BOEING 777X. I wish Garuda Indonesia can use AIRBUS A350-900/1000 xwb/ulr for the future, over it's BOEING 777.

  3. Those Airlines who choose B777x over A350 are the biggest losers. With what is happening to BOEING and the 777x recently those Airlines are not getting back their investment. Wish Emirates could get their money back as the 777x development has been plague with problems.
