  1. Nah! Think I'll just go pop a disc in my old PS1 and celebrate the days when Sony actually cared. This anniversary edition of an already overpriced console that lacks a disc drive and backward compatability is just insulting, not to mention inevitable scalper operations.

This console is just a slap in the face to customers (and even their children now) who made Playstation successful and helps make an argument in favor of PC gaming.

  3. I honestly think to celebrate all these years of Playstation, it would be great to make it available to everyone who supported it all these years. But instead of that, we get nothing. Also all the time wasted in the waiting line on the PS direct side, only to check that the console is already sold out. What an honestly great experience, thanks.

  4. Thank you Sony, for nothing.
The 30th anniversary edition was so hard Limited you have made a few Scalper happy and a lot of loyal Fans upset.
Showing us a nice peace of Hardware, that won't gotta get.

I really wanted that nice looking PS5 Pro, because I liked it how IT Looks and Not because it's rare. I would made me Happy, if everyone who wanted one, would get one.

Now, we have another product for scalper, who give a sh.. about the product and some rich kids who doesn't care any pricing.

Next time, make a limited pre-order time. Everyone who ist pre-ordering will get one. After the time Windows ordering is closed and the limitation is set. Everyone ist happy and scalper can f… themselves.

  5. Controllers were sold out everywhere few seconds after preorder started. Thank you for really awesome celebration with so low units available Sony. Best I ever had 🎉🎉🎉 may I ask why are those controllers limited? Not consoles, not portal. I’m asking about simple controllers. Is there any magic needed to manufacture million pieces? I’m glad I can buy some pink or purple at least…

  6. I'm so sad… here in France I didn't have the hance to get one. I'm a big fan of Playstation since 1995 and I'm so upset to know that scalpers got mostly all the stock and now, sell it for 3000€…
I'm so sad, If only Sony could do something…

  7. I had three separate browsers on my pc, a laptop, and two smartphones waiting in queue for the ps direct. I actually stood so much better of a chance at getting one than 95% of people waiting – and I still didn’t get it. I’m fully aware that it was so slim of a chance to actually get one, but how is this even remotely fair to people that actually care about the nostalgia this product was targeting, Sony? I missed the 20th anniversary with the ps4 when I was 13 because I was a child with no income and now I’m old enough to be able to give the funds for this new 30th anniversary edition – and I didn’t even stand a chance.

I’ve owned every PlayStation aside from the ps5 and I thought this was the perfect edition to get me into this generation – as luck-luster as it is. A grand is a lot, but I still would’ve given that just to own this. I just wanted one console, Sony. And you couldn’t even bother because you think making 12,300 of the pro models is a cute number. What a joke of a company. I’ve never felt so small, so insignificant, so unseen within the hobby until now. I’m so jaded with how bloated and unfair this industry is.
