  1. Yes, jurneying to Mars will be very much a suecide mission, and people need to understand that. Our, humanity's that is, best bet for survival into the next millennia is to stop all wars, and start to look after this planet as if our future as a species depended on it – which offcause it does. We need to look seriously at what activities we do that is detrimental to the long term environmental health of Earth. Currently we churn out all manner of toxic products that pollute land, water and the air, all of which are detrimental to our long term survival. Humanity need to understand that we can't live in harmony without changing some seriously detrimental habits we have, like unbridled greed and aggression. We would need to look at out cultures focus on violence, real ( wars ) and "simulated as well as real violence" as it is a substantial part of almost all forms of entertainment.! World leaders and their willing enforcers that crave power and "glory" will need to be replaced by leaders that promote harmony and who take a long term view of the world we live in and our actions and the consequences of what we do, or do not do.! The idea of moving to Mars is an insane option at this point for a multiple number of reasons, so looking after our current world should be our number one priority, and that goes for everyone in all countries. Warmongering leaders need to be replaced.! Humanity's future depend on it.! 😯

  2. I really worry about the astronauts prolonged exposure to zero gravity. We already know the debilitating effects it has on the human body.
I think underground habitats on Mars would be a great way to protect the astronauts from Solar Radiation and other big bad things.. lol

  3. Actually from science we know that such a Prolonged mission is not possible for the simple reason that environmental studies studies of closed systems involving animals and human beings have always failed miserably and horribly

  4. Humanity establishing a city, a home on Mars is vital for our survival., between global warming and Wars we're killing the Earth, but the massive question how much are we willing to sacrifice to establish our new home? Elon Musk himself has said there will be loss of life. Question is what amount the general public are willing to hear about before it lead to an outcry possibly people trying to curtail our exploration of other celestial bodies?

  5. I don't think Elon musk is going to risk anyone's life by going to Mars… Starship is the key to becoming interplanetary beings.. and I'm sure he will send a few drone Starship to Mars first to set up a safe environment before any humans lands on the red planet .. I mean he does spectacular crazy things… but that doesn't mean he's crazy…🤪

  6. In my opinion I think our biggest obstacle for multi-planetary life is gravity we know how to make oxygen we can fight radiation these are things that already exist but creating gravity has not been done yet now that starship has completed static fire and will be certified as an orbital class ship soon gravity will be out next obstacle I'm excited to see all the different ways that we can create gravity to Mr Elon musk I'm excited to see how you conquer this obstacle you work with the most brilliant minds in the world have at it lol

  7. Well, what's worse, acknowledging that people will most certainly die in such an undertaking at some point, or being fingered as a charlatan who led people to their deaths without being honest about the staggering risks?

  8. Send all the pieces of a tunnel boring machine now and then send prisoners and illegal aliens and liberals to assemble it on certain death missions, when they run out of air they run out

  9. First of all, the shuttle was a death trap, it essentially had no escape system. I read once where a statistical analysis predicted a fatality on an average of every 25th Shuttle flight. And your Apollo statistics are skewed, no Apollo crew members were significantly injured or killed in flight, the Apollo 1 fatalities were on the ground. All long duration space flights are precarious, and almost all of the dangers you attribute to Mars would be similar to a Moon base, except for the close proximity of Earth and a quick escape to, or a rescue mission from the Earth.
