  1. France starts out on Allied side but then goes Axis after Germany invasion (combined with Italy and Iberia). While it gets freed in 1944, it looses territory for going Axis especially in Africa. It doesn't get any Germany etc.

That is my Alternative World History POV.

  2. When you think they had to absolutely hammer Germany to bring it to its knees , from all angles , if they never attacked the Soviet Union they would have taken Britain in the end and finally finished us off in Europe , then they could have attacked Soviet Union and won

  3. And this is how it starts with one nation committing crimes against another then other countries feel emboldened to act escalating it to the point of no return and soon the world is dragged into it not wanting but having no choice once it arrives on their doorstep ???What follows is tragedy and devastation!!!

  4. Only part of the run-time is relevant to the video title, otherwise the video is barely a primer on a number of actions from 1943-44.

Watch The World at War instead. More depth and it’s got Larry Olivier narrating. Much better, although still only dipping its toes in the subject matter.
