The song was selected for you to sing for the finale, and the manner in which you grasped it, stretched yourself, dug deep within, drew from your inner soul, and totally delivered it as your own showed millions the incredible artist you are. Your door has opened even wider and you’ve stepped through it – – continue taking on each new step, each new challenge, each new ‘dare’. You could have asked for a different song, stayed in your comfort zone, played it 'safe' as some may say 🙂 – but your tenacity and your willingness to step out there truly sets your stage.   14. Dee Dee… I just love what you did with the song that they gave you. You sang it beautifully and you made it your own as any creative artist would, and should do.
    I heard that song in a whole new light and your passion shines through when you’re singing. I suppose you could’ve taken the easy route and picked another song but, this made me feel something…YOU made us feel something!
