Beau Richards plays Miss Minnie Bell Ward, a 102 year old black women who has outlived her family and friends and requested to be located in the maternity ward in the hospital where Charlene is having her baby.
She reminisces about being a black woman growing up in the South and being a first hand witness to some of the major events of the twenty-first century. She reminds us all that regardless of the color of our skin, dignity, love, and compassion are timeless.
