Regrow Veggies From Kitchen Scraps



Did you know that you can regrow certain vegetables in your own kitchen? In this video, Maynard Okereke shows us how three different veggies can all be regrown from food scraps! Green onions, celery, and lettuce are all able to be regrown via DIY techniques, thanks to their versatile base cells that can diversify into both root and shoot cells. Regrowing these three foods from scraps can help cut down on food waste in landfills, as well as reduce your grocery bill.
