Ily Ruiz died last Friday after a family member found her and her mom unconscious in their SUV near their home in Anaheim, California. Police said Sandra Hernandez, Ily’s mother, was found in the vehicle with her daughter and empty alcohols bottles. Hernandez now faces criminal charges. This is so sad I was hoping that the poor baby did not pass away by parental negligence. I thought that the mother had a medical condition that made her pass out and felt so bad for her but now I know she really didn’t care about her daughter enough to live beyond her grief after her two sons passed.

I can't imagine the terror of being smothered to death by the overwhelming heat. There is no safe temperature or length of time in which a child should be left alone in a car, Period. For an adult to overheat in a car is just 10mins. My heart goes out to anyone who has gone through this ordeal. <><><><>
Children do not process and shed heat as well as adults do. Their ability to sweat is not as advanced as an adult person. This is why I probably she did not die in the child did.
No no no this parents are not parenting. There are no excuses for this little angel dying of heat stroke with her mother with the child inside of the car, and she was drunk???????. This is not ok. And the father should not BE DEFENDING THE MOTHER. THEY BOTH NEED TERAPHY AND PARENTING LESSONS.

This is such a horrific, horrible, terrifying, & sickening order of events and I'm only in the first few minutes of the video. WT….. Please 🙏🏻, what's going on?!! Something's not right, I'm sorry, under these circumstances, What do you do?!! It's preventable, if the mother had help to begin with but hindsight is 20/20. This is so sad. The fact she turned to the same drug that caused someone else to kill her boys is beyond words. Losing her boys was an extreme tragedy and you'd think she would have wanted to do her absolute best to protect her baby girl at all costs. SO messed up! My heart goes out to the father. <3
