Immagine gaslighting yourself into thinking the same crappy boring story and lackluster combat, filled with shallow dide quests in an open world that struggles to justifies itself, is alright to accept. Immagine being so much devoided of interests that it doesn't matter the quality of a game anymore. It just needs to be a distraction, even if its crappy.
I think you said it perfectly. If Ubi actually focuses on facial animations being a key element and have it align with character voice acting (which they haven't done since freaking AC Unity) we could have another AC masterpiece that will be fully immersive like the classics. I hate that the wannabe righteous internet police wants to keep trying to coop Assassin Creed with Outlaws when this AC has never tried to force diversity. A historical figure with a blank canvas to write his story and yet they wanna call it forced. All I'm saying is the game is lining up to be another banger of 2024. Great writers/designers that worked on Arkham Origions, WOW, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, and SW Ep.3 Game I'm ready to play this game.

Their environments always look solid but the details like facial animations have been worse and worse for the past decade. Star Wars Outlaws is a good example as well as AC Mirage, you’re telling me that Ubisoft couldn’t afford to do performance capture for a fucking “triple a” Star Wars game, that’s one of the big things that pushes red dead far beyond any recent Ubisoft title, Naughty Dog games too especially Last of Us 2 has next level performance capture and obviously hand animated cleanup and adjustments too, but every scene was performance captured and it’s quite a few large cutscenes despite it being a shorter game than AC.
They need to be doing performance capture for all of the scenes at this point, it’s 2024 and Ubisoft has the money to do that. Their standards have been getting lower and lower and people are noticing. It seemed like Mirage had no performance capture at all, characters looked super robotic even in scenes that were supposed to be emotional or important. It really helped kill a story that had some potential (the writing was also pretty poor which did about just as much to lessen the impact of the overall story arc).
Lots of sheep hate Ubisoft without even playing their games which shows sheeps are found everywhere this days who judges things without even trying.N they hated on outlaws too as most of them are poor and can’t afford the hardware or the game

No it dosen’t it looks like outlaws but slightly better which is still worse than games from over a decade ago. Hell even Ubisoft’s own AC Unity and The Division 1 look way fucking better. This company died in 2014. Mirage is only decent as the small team loved Ac1 and tried to make a game similar with a new character, location and story. Apart from the combat and story the game was pretty good and it was mostly the garbage Valhalla engine faults for any shortcomings except story
