Critter Cove is a cozy post-apocalyptic life sim/town builder in which we’ll be rebuilding an island town inhabited by various cute and funny critters. It’s a game full of exploration both on land and under water, farming, crafting and more, but there won’t be combat and there are no plans for romancing. It’s all round a wholesome experience.

I detest that kind of fishing mini game. I much prefer the fishing that has the player grabbing the fish when it strikes.
The biggest disappointment I have found with Critter Cove is the map restriction on the Demo😊. I absolutely love this little game and it's a far cry from the ones I normally play and totally enjoy the fun quests that have me hopping around. The fishing update is so welcome and it was inevitable a game involving so much water had to have fishing at some point. Practice makes perfect on the timing 😉.

So the devs decided to remove the fishing mini game – for the time being. They might add a new one later, but for now it's just simple fishing where you reel in when the fish bites.
