I was able to connect to the goggles, but would like to see a video on how to link the goggles gyro to the aircraft's gimbal for operation.
Did you mean RC-N3 at 5:21 ? Or does the RC-N1 work with the Neo with firmware updates? Nice video as always by the way.

Thanks for the video. One problem, it is difficult to switch from one flight mode to another, for example you have to unpair the goggles to be able to pair the radio!

Beginners on a tight budget will not buy this drone because its just a average selfie drone, unless your a drone enthusiast and have some of the accessories that work with it, otherwise there is no point to this drone.
I’m going to wait it out until they do a 250g version of the Neo. The features of the Neo but with the abilities of a Mini 3/4…I’d be all over it.

Great little roundup, thanks for that~ I'll probably get one as a B-Drone and hiking buddy beside my Mini 4, but I sure hope that they'll bring back the D-Cinelike color profile in a future fw update. Being able to turn down sharpness was an important first step in making the footage more usable, but the colors themselves are still a bit wacky.

I feel like it’s for a person that won’t get into drones because of the limitations and how much of a leap the mini series is above this.
My interest is to fly it as a mini avata 2, using either goggles and controller 2 or the rc 1. Since I have the those I do not have any intentions of purchasing newer version equipment to fly a 200$ Neo. I fly my avata 1 & 2 in normal and sport modes. It would be nice to get a Neo to try to learn manual mode before attempting it on my avata’s. I know the Neo can be activated to work on the 2 generation of equipment just like the avata 2. So for now I’ll just pass until something is worked out. Come on DJI, update the Neo.

Got Avata 2 to dip my big toe into FPV. I haven't gone full manual, but as I get close, I decided that the Neo is perfect for learning (as in: crashing) – it has so little mass, it cant hurt itself too bad. Care Refresh is $22 USD a year!

The remotes confuse me. I get with or without a screen (is there any advantage to the one with a screen other than convenience?), and the joystick FPV one … but what is the deal with the FPV remote? What makes it different than the other two?
I have an RC pro and an RC one that both work with the mini three pro why wouldn’t it work with this? Is this just planned obsolescence?
Great breakdown, I just miss info about speed. I reach about 15 mph (Sport mode) with the remote in the Neo combo. I guess the speed is higher with FPV remote and what about speed with the motion controller? Thanks. Great channel 🤜🤛

Will the fpv head tracking work when you have the manual fpv controller too? Also how was the FPV experience? I really wanted to get it but it's way more expensive than the other options
Question, for the mini4 pro is it ok to leave it charging overnight? Does it have a function that will prevent if from overcharging even if its plugged on?
It's funny when you see a bee fly through the camera view. I've seen them while flying the Avata 2 and got a little freaked out thinking I'd disturbed a hive and didn't want them to follow the drone back to me. LOL
This is a great overview of the DJI Neo. I'm surprised that you can get so much for only $199. I might have to pick one up!
