Nasa should be forbidden from handing out anymore cost plus cintracts
The Americans sure don't like to admit that the Chinese are going to best them this time.
Meanwhile they cancel a moon rover to avoid cost overruns… after it was completely built. Its like NASA is allergic to accomplishment.
No more Cost Plus contracts.

The country and NASA are being led by 2 ancient men equaling 167 years in age. Get Trump and Bridenstine in there and clean house, fire all these ridiculous VP's and DEI hires and put the emphasis on supporting Blue Origin, SpaceX Sierra etc.
If we are sending humans to the south pole why are we sending robotic probes?? You can have these experiments sent on landers with the humans to set up. I know we want to encourage all these companies to land their tiny probes on the moon but it doesn't make much sense

What a waste of money NASA replicates all government services they are wasteful and have no incentive to cut cost or develop new methods everything is based on how much money the government will supply NASA with of our tax dollars. While China and other nations take the lead that the USA paid a dear price for. If not for Space x the USA would be again a laughing stock while NASA hires engineers because they get a 3rd gender for their money rather then an engineer for his abilities.
Even though I'm no fan of Elon Musk, I think it would be funny if SpaceX gets us back to the moon on its own just by using various crewed and tanker versions of Starship.

NASA should not exist. The political favoritism, kickbacks from project money to keep Democrats in majority, hiring Democrat Senators to oversee those ballooning budgets and inexplicable delays are the primary reason why the human race should not use a political model to establish safe haven on another planet.
Defund NASA and make a rule that no defense contractor can host a Mars or Moon contract. Even Elon. Even Jeff Bezos. Mars and Moon only, or defense aerospace and no overlap.

Who decided to give ML2 proect funding to Bechtel? Are there any responsible adults at NASA?
Anyone with memory cells intact knows Bechtel was the grandfather of massive cost over-runs in the disaster plagued "reconstruction" of Iraq..
Iraq was a money machine for Bechtel, and Behtel never accounted for its mismanagement of multiple Iraq projects.
And now, this– we are left with bad engineering, , over-optimistic projections, and the usual gargantuan cost-plus appetite of Bechtel for federal money.
ML2 may be forced to rebuild itself, while the Artemis project falls farther behind.
Is there a solution? Space-X has all the projects it can handle properly, and NASA knows defaulting to a single contractor is asking for the same trouble delivered by Boeing and Bechtel.

We could do it without refill 50 years ago. Now it's 10x more expensive and even with that it doesn't work. Our phone has enough processing power than the lunar module or even the entire ground control. Still the capsule is 5x heavier for…. Reasons? It's like they're trying to spend as much as they can to fail this project. Dealing with spacex is stupid. At this point just donate the entire research to india and maybe humanity can go back to the moon. Or just give china saturn 5 blueprint. America only knows how to blow the budget.

No, it's not the launch tower. Nothing about Artemis works. The entire thing is a joke. Saturn V took one rocket, Artemis would take about 20 rockets to get to the moon, and they plan on abandoning the astronauts on the moon for over a week. The entire mission plan is a fail. Look up The Everyday Astronaut's report on it. It's so much worse than people know. He actually spoke to the engineers at NASA. It's 100% unworkable as-is.

Having followed this from the other side of the planet for years it’s clear that SLS was never meant to be a functional rocket, just a jobs program stretched to last a decade or two.
