  1. Prison arc will always be the peak of the comics. So many great character and story arcs. Although I think some characters should have had more story. Andrew could have redeemed himself after the revolt attempt and stay with the group until the end, Ben's future story arc could have been more foreshadowed, Allen could have overcame Donna's death, Patricia and Otis would've essentially settled their differences and maybe become a couple again (Patricia was also forgiven too easily since she basically betrayed Rick so that could have been explored much more)… Still, most of the cast were well written. And I kinda get that not everyone is going to get their conclusion in a zombie apocalypse comic.

  2. Could you imagine if they did go with the Beth greene decapitation in the show, it would’ve been crazy.. and still it would’ve been better and had more meaning than her actual death in the show 😢

  3. Amazing video. Would love to see more recaps on the TWD comic volumes. "Made to Suffer" is one of the most brutal storytelling arcs that even though I liked the TV show adaptation felt extremely watered down from what we got.

  4. Please keep going in order. I like these, I guess you’d call them an analysis of each one. Having your comparisons between show vs comic is a huge plus and I like to see what happens to the characters.

  5. I got another place to explore- FTWD episode 14 Season 3
    'On-The-Go Burger'
It looks interesting, it looks like an outbreak started while the world was still functioning. Its got a little story you could check out.

  6. I enjoyed this explanation on the volume and is one of my favorites of the comics. Tyreese is an absolute powerhouse in this volume by not only taking a bunch of walkers but living as well. Julie’s death was sad and a twist on how everyone turns no matter how they die. Shane soul not have put Rick down if the roles were reversed as he saw him as dead already. My question is why did it take so long for Shane to turn when Julie turned in a matter of seconds practically? The Thomas Richard’s moment and Rick’s fight with him are the highlights of this volume in my opinion. I’m looking forward to the next issue and your explanation on that!

  7. Imagine an alternative storyline where both Lee and Vince (from Telltale's game) went to this prison, found out how much of a mess it was. But somehow, they clear it up from the dead and make it their haven. They would be the first ones to deal with the prisoners, but eventually, Rick's group discovers them and they get allowed in

  8. The probably first 3 seasons would have read great as a shorter serialized animated 12 episode series. Especially with the cutting of our pov into the characters whereabouts and actions really could be used to show the progression of time and their perspectives and survival prowess
