Ok lifetime usually messes up on these book to movies but I just finished episode 1 and 2 and they were so good! Can we please get a remake of the casteel series
OMG. I’ve seen the first two and they were so good. It definitely made me feel empathetic towards the hateful grandmother. That husband was atrocious. I hope he get what he deserves. I’ve read all of the books years ago when I was younger.
I LOVE this series and especially the Origin. The movie is done so well! The actors bring so many intense feelings to the screen and it does make me have compassion for Olivia. Not that all her actions were necessarily right but it gives me an empathy for her.

It's so good just watched part one and two today.
They finally got it right-the acting, the set, and costume design!! Loved all the references to classic gothic literature in the first episode-so perfect. Great job and I can't wait for episode 3 <3

As someone’s whose read the series by VC Andrews Lifetime really outdid themselves! The acting is phenomenal it’s such a dark story

How come they didn't give this movie the book title like the other movies did? I notice they're calling it Flowers in the Attic: The Origin instead of Garden of Shadows?
Based on Ellen Burstyn's remarkable portrayal of Olivia; and Jemima Rooper's incredible performance, I see both actors came to the same conclusion about Olivia Winfield.
Of course, Ms. Burstyn didn't have the material that Ms. Rooper's working with. Nonetheless, both actors were able make Olivia into a sympathetic character.
Olivia went from a career woman, calling shots to such a shell of her former self… because she made an err in judgement. Saying… Yes, to the wrong man.
This series is so good!

This is the only Lifetime program that is beautifully acted, cinematically pleasing, and super dark/twisted! Not one minute has left me bored, in all honesty.
I don't know what to say poor Olivia why did she married this man he has a problem serious but looking at this movie let's me know it starts deep down in the soul and if no one stands up it's going to keep on going on

Kate mulgrew would make a great grandmother Olivia. They added somethings, elaborated and expanded side charachters. But it was better than the other movies.
I really enjoyed this series! They changed a lot and added a lot but I didn't mind most of it. It did add something to a book that didn't have much going on. And by far the best, BEST Foxworth Hall! When I read Flowers in the Attic and Garden of Shadows, this is the house I pictured! The 80s movie did a good job too, but this version really portrayed the massive size of the house. Also, best Swan bed! Excatly how I pictured it! If you're a fan of the series its def worth a watch. I didn't bother reading the more recent "diary" series, but from what I researched they are really bad and add nothing! This adaptioned adds a lot of GOOD stuff.
Despite the changes from the book…. This was a good series

This movie is a disgrace to the original story of a horrid woman woman who locked up innocent children in attic. It was compelling and original.
This movie seeks to once again pander to the modern woke culture that a white man has to be the villain in every situation. (Note: I am a black person)
