Yes I'm going to disagree with you I'd rather have 60 frames that the game running at 30 frames with Graphics so high up that it doesn't run as well people who just care about Graphics of the problem
I don't understand why people didn't do their combat system like what Kingdom come deliverance did.
Sword fight will only be fun when it flow flawlessly, The worst i could think of was Fallout 4 melee combat.
Screen tears on OLED below 40 FPS, so if something runs 30 fps in 2024 = autoskip for me.

While I loved KOTOR 2, Alpha Protocol, and Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds was so dull and boring and this looks more like that game than their other games that I did enjoy.

Some players don't mind 30fps, but for others we can see how bad 30fps is and it totally ruins our play through. I think it's a genetics thing, my daughter can't play 30fps either, it does he mind in. Yet her mother can play 30fps and will yell at us that there is nothing wrong with it, it's fine. So, the 30fps issue is something where some people can't see an issue with 30fps and others can only see the massive issue with 30fps.
30 fps should not be acceptable these days, id rather have less good visuals and a smooth 60

Outer Worlds was considerably better than Fallout 4 true but that wasn't an accomplishment.
I don't think Avowed will have the same improvement over Skyrim.
It will likely be better than Outer Worlds and thus all of modern Bethesda but still fall short of Skyrim.

I hate having walls of text on the screen listing every objective.
It's the same as Cyberpunk.

I grew up playing console starting since PS1. I didn't care about the whole FPS debate until I got into PC gaming a few years ago, it absolutely makes a difference, and imo smoother FPS does more to add to immersion and gameplay than super fancy graphics with low FPS.
Avowed won't kill Bethesda because you can't kill what is already dead.
I just hope Black Isle can take what they did with Fallout New Vegas and bring it into their version of the Elder Scrolls.

Weapons should be slower and loading them should take more time since it's a fantasy world. Also no infinite bullets.
Wand spamming is also stupid. Wand is a conduit that makes magic casting faster, perhaps unlocks a spell you can't use due to your mage class and makes spells stronger. It's not a machine gun.
This game is likely to draw the same audience numbers as The Outer Worlds, and to be fair, I "liked" The Outer Worlds, but it was a boring experience. The quests were dull, the story was uninspired, and I couldn't bring myself to care about any of the characters. Some of the companion quests were downright ridiculousālike having to buy soap for my lesbian companion so she could take a shower before asking another woman out on a date. Who wrote that? I don't mind the inclusion of LGBT+ themesāit's a part of human society and every game have it at this pointābut why delve so deeply into such trivial details? I wonder what the next steps will be… (buying lube)…
The game also lacked any real "depth." Nothing was truly engaging. The combat was just okay, the world was just okay, exploration was just okay, gear was just okay, the skill tree was just okay, and the visuals were just okay. And when everything is just "okay," the game becomes forgettable. I suspect Avowed will be the sameāforgettable, uninspiring, with nothing noteworthy. From all the trailers and "gameplay" we've seen, nothing stands out as new or unique. It's shaping up to be a big nothing burger. If you have Game Pass, this will be just another title to try out, play for 10-20 hours, and then move on to something else without finishing it.
Yes, complain about frame rate when it comes to Obsidian but don't complain about story, mechanics, and a lack of content when it comes to Bethesda.

You should check out that new Game That has special abilties like "Cancel People" , "get triggered" its the far left wet dream of a video game. I forget the name but its easy to find edit its called Dustborn I think
