  1. Here’s my weekly comment to tell you and scishow team about how ALL Keokuk geodes are fossils . Also a new study found 15 minerals in ONE GEODE. I hope one of you reads the comments this week. I also finally found copies of the book Keokuk fossils and the species biopella. Which is like from the 1800s and they made the discovery and knew they were all fossils. But they didn’t know what the fossils were so they kept calling them sponges but if you literally just read the descriptions, they’re just describing horn coral and crinoids and braciopods. Like literally these are the geodes from the geode capital of the world. Definitely the geode capital of the United States and every single one is a fossil and people are just smashing them open having no idea and I swear to God I know from living there it’s some weird gatekeeping thing, maybe because of fossil regulations but for real like can someone please talk to me about this or someone in the comments who cares? Rant over see you next week!

  2. I seem to remember that when Adam Savage talked to the muppet people their was talk about different versions of the muppet babies that only occured as part of some other show (like it was a short segment in that show).

  3. I wouldn’t think the way the seeds are spread with the I-bots will not be easy to harvest because they will not be in a row like common mechanical seeding. Not as useful as one would think unless humans harvest.

  4. Just had to say, the walnut shell is not the fruit. The fruit is the fleshy part that rots away, and stinks. Same goes for hackberries. Their thin rind is the fruit (tastes like honey orange), covering the seed, which is comprised of the protective layer, surrounding the nascent plant inside. Only trees related variously like these, and oaks, have this kind of set-up. The "fleshy" part of the acorn is the cap, which dries off and falls away, leaving the protective shell, surrounding the tender inside. Oh, btw, one can eat the hackberry and sugarberry rinds, as well as acorn insides, if prepared properly. Anyway, just off on a tangent.
