  1. I really love the focus on the Moonshae Islands, but Id actually like it to be a combat optional area with war, pirates, etc to interact with. The lore of the islands really lends to the combat playstyle. Sooo overall, Im actully nervous with what you are going to do with it.

  2. I love the stories and the passion, I love the RPG hobby. I don't think I'll be buying the books, I don't like some decisions in it and don't agree with the direction you are taking. Good luck and better bosses.

  3. I love getting to be part of this community. I can express more of me in D&D in game then out. As a kid with ADHD the game is more than words, I see the world around me and its grate. I may be a nerd, but I will always be happy and a DM.

  4. As a veteran AD&D/D&D master and have seen it all and played every form of D&D old school and new. Presently D&D must evolve into a more purist form of digital format. While I love old school and will always be a huge fan of the TTRPG………AD&D/D&D must forge forth and get that stick out of the butt mentality. No other franchise in the fantasy category is as massive and yet it sucks how D&D has been stymied while other franchise surge forward at breakneck speed (I'm looking at you LOTRs) and it sucks. With rings of power now in its 2nd season where the hell is our truly epic FRs or Greyhawk or DL adventure (not the recent mediocre bore film fest in 2023) on the big screen or series? Where is our next huge MMORPG that follows (not BG3-subpar experience) DDO?

I still believe in ttrpgs, but how many editions do we really need? How about going back to the other editions (revisions of those only-please) and render additional material for that existing content with material and newly additions to the best art of that edition? revisitation of the AD&D 1st edition revised version for example……..who didn't love the best art in that editions FIEND FOLIO?

  5. But what have you done for the monsters!!!!??? They don't have a chance in Hell to give the player characters any kind of challenge. They are simply speed bumps on the way to level 20. It is ridiculous.

  6. Okay i can see why Larian did not end up making more bg3 content, please just hire larian to further develop their enigne of bg3 with more assets and sell that as a stand alone instead of this.
Then mix it with some voice implementation ai over different dialog options and you have a game in which people will spend time to create campaigns for all to enjoy.

  7. I started playing in 1977. The most incredible times of my childhood were game nights. My love for the adventures has always been there. At 56 I'm now looking at the idea of becoming a DM and if the new edition is as good as it looks, I can't wait.

  8. Digital code for physical books, buying particular subclasses or backgrounds- not the entire $30 book, every step towards pushing us to spend more money is the last shove we need to find a new character building website all together. (and there are a few already in kickstarter)

  9. I’ve started playing not to long ago myself (I’m 28) and played three times so far and i made three characters so far. It’s So comforting and my group is really nice to🩷

Plus I’ve seen the movie and recently heard there’s going to be a second one

  10. I was born in Brazil and I guarantee: many Brazilians love Dungeons and Dragons. Our gaming community was very disappointed when Wizard of the Coast announced that they would stop publishing Dungeons and Dragons material in our native language (Portuguese). Please, reconsider this decision! I believe there is a large market in Brazil waiting for Dungeons and Dragons products. You only have to gain by investing in our country. Think about it!

  11. Dungeon Dudes taught me how to play D&D and how to Dungeon Master and I went on to found a huge thriving local chapter of Adventurers League at my LGS as well as run many of my own campaigns for friends. I'm very excited to see them involved and I think that's a very good look for WotC.
