Sorry, but BGT is past it. Too much focus on "story," too little focus on talent and entertainment. The only excellent act was the dog act. New and original acts are no more. Acts were competing to be the least mediocre. Worse, several of these acts will mysteriously appear on AGT after a few months, then CanadasGT, or Australia's GT.
And the best bit has always been the auditions. Yet now they are sanitized, and the best bits are left for the cutting room floor. If seen at all

Richard’s first performance was epic. This one is average
0:22 i want 75 y.o. man can sing using growl, head voice and ventriloquist technique in one song.
5:00 i want 5 person doing the same act in 30 meters above stage and the top person does frontflip + landing safely after doing pyramid.
12:15 i want 10 y.o. girl doing contortionist and showing bone transformation than doing battle scene using her flexibility and durability.
17:03 i want dog trainer and also coreographer for 30 dogs doing syncronization dance.
21:32 i want he changes his plastic stuff with flaming trisula, spear and sword doing acrobatic moves while passing some obstacles.
25:13 i want they dancing in the shreded glasses and nails + do more backflip frontflip sideflip and breakdance moves too.
30:00 i want they sings and playing 15 music instruments.
34:10 i want they not only dancing but also doing parkour, jumping the group of snakes, dodging traffic, passing the lightest one to ring of fire, sliding under stone hammer.
39:00 i want they using goldfish changes into shark, caterpillar into hydra and for contrasting act they using lion into cat
43:10 i want they rapping using 20 different language + playing loopstation and of course beatboxing.
47:40 i want they composing a song using 25 different music scales or a song with 15 different music genres.
Maybe in the future years some of my willing are really happen.

Richard is fantastic, I would like to hear him sing , many rivers to cross , that's one of my favourite songs.
The last band was o.k , but they need to do some ballads type songs in between to break it up a bit what I mean is , some softer style songs, cos for an audience to listen to them energetic songs for saying, 2 hours at a concert would be to much, if perform in this way , I recon they will be good along with a name people will remember.
