XCOM 2 is the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the 2012 award-winning strategy game of the year.

I think the psionic weapon would best be given to any class other than a marine.
Commander, need to fix Bumblee's look for whatever armor that was. Her face mask was gone but I don't think she would be without it canonically. 🙂
God, too many mods now. Takes like an hour for each turn as Odd forgets everything that anything does every turn apparently.
If you're looking to use the Psy Weapon on marines, maybe having a tech specialist with anti armor doctrine around isn't a bad idea
Loved how they put the keepers on B so it sounded like beekeepers. Made me chuckle xD
1) marionette control most likely got nerfed by a firewall sitrep. I don't remember if you realised it mid-mission or not, but normally it has similar chances to mind control
2) last time I wrote it off as you being confused be the nightmare happening in the facility, but it starts to look like you might be misunderstanding the mechanic a little bit – raptors perch can be triggered by snapshot. so brace->shoot will grant sniper an action for a second shot. same with reload->shoot if you were already braced. it hasn't resulted in major misplays yet but you did pass up a couple free kills
3) obviously its not always possible, but do try to use syphon will off cd unless you're intentionally pretending the skill doesn't exist to nerf psionics(perfectly fine by me if that's the case!). there was no time for it in the first half of the mission, but closer to the end there were a lot of opportunities you passed up without even commenting on them.
I kinda like the sparks being mega op vs the crazy difficulty.
Why not build a second Toaster?
The virus that affect Toaster speech seem to be back. Apparently, it 's a resistant one, the last purge didn't get all of it, so it came back. Poor Toaster….

Been going back a watching some of Chris's old playthroughs.. Didn't realize Life is Strange 2 stopped in the middle.. Anyone recommend who I should watch finish it.. Hopefully close to Chris's choices?

That mission was great, enjoyed the problem solving, with a decent challenge!
The mission with the double sect + venators really did put you on the back foot a bit – and I agree, the difficulty spike when two heavy armoured + hp units show up, is pretty crazy. Hopefully, it's a bit smoother sailing to the end. 😮💨
I always found that gun used on a Medic/tech operative with covering fire overwatches to be best.
ODD: I'd suggest installing a mod that lets you increase the SIZE OF THE TEAM.
This would rebalance the game a bit more.
Telling ya, brah – get some Shredstorm cannons. Wide AoE, clears cover, and it's damage that isn't negated by various immunities. Think about it!
Chris, 2 day wait! OMG!! so hooked on this, watched the epi that 5/6 team members were KIA, those black ice grenades would of been super helpful. Me, I would of cheated and started again! lol

When you moved the marine with phase walk it cost an action hence the inability to shoot twice, could be the psi weapon didn't count as well, but if you watch back her movement radius line was yellow after phase walk
Anyone else notice bumblebee lost her mask after the psionic bomb and venetor attack?
Darkclaw+Undermine+Talons is insane combo for a reaper. I'm very excited to see Odin wrecking havoc in the coming mission.

Engineers might be the way to go with the psionic gun since they can only shoot once anyways
Man, I know the force level is high but the health on some of these enemies is just insane. Without psionics to give extra actions and mind control there’s no way you can kill more than 1-2 on a turn. Looking at you, Space Egg
This whole campaign deserves way more likes & attention… I look forward to these every day (2 days) and its even better when it 2 hours long! Get comfy with a cup of tea & let Mr Odd entertain me. Cheers dude
I just did one of those escort missions, what a nightmare. I’m definitely avoiding those to finish out my campaign.
I basically never even shoot with the shadow lance anymore now that my reaper always gets to use the Darkclaw

Yea sparks are just way too OP, at least the flamethrower variant. Considering that sectopods are one of, if not the most diffcult enemies to fight, and you have a CQC equivalent, on top of the fact that you can just evac them anytime you want as long as you have overdrive, balancing needs to be done. I bet you could do the final mission with only those things.

This is why you take Blackflame grenades on every mission. It's the equalizer for endgame in these campaigns.

[Nilros] "You know, the last couple of days have been quite hectic. It feels as though there hasn't really been time to sit down and just take a breather."
Nilros looks out over the horizon again.
[Nilros] "I know we are fighting a uphill battle against the Elders. I know we are so close to the finishing line, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't take a small breath and pull ourselves towards ourselves."
*Nilros extends their hand towards the setting sun.
[Nilros] "We all want our blue and pure world back in humanities hands, but should our sanity and mental health truly be the price to pay? Considering how many of our tribe has paid far more then that already?."
Nilros shrugs.
[Nilros] "I don't know, perhaps I am being too spiritual about this, but the Chief and all of the crew has put so much of themselves into this. Facing constant roadblock after roadblock, be it failures or the lost of a warrior."
Nilros pulls their hood back and runs their hand over the head.
[Nilros] "I know this session feels a bit like a ramble, but that is the point. We should push ourselves so hard to achieve our goals, but we aren't alone in this. We are humanity. We are standing together. So it is okay to take a little break and find your inner peace. After the Elders have finally been defeated there is a lot of rebuilding to be done. Our journey has merely started.

A marine can be a great psi op, but they would need to be respec to Rifleman skilltree. Psi wweapons are not cannons, so won't work with Gunner skilltree.
