Putin said after he used his little green men to steal Crimea where it was worth every sands and now his black sea fleet that some were destroyed and the rest escaped away from Sevastopol ports are humiliated for Putin indeed in hundreds year later.
Even Crimea is now no more military strategy but a heavy budget to feed a lot of Russia lazy suckers in both Russia military, navy and air defense systems for the Kerch bridge that is not worth to keep as Sevastopol ports are unusable for controlling Black Sea but Ukraine ships, marine drones and sea mines are on every surface of Black Sea.

I'm disappointed with myself over how much I underestimated Ukraine. They do have western weapons, but they don't matter if you don't have talented, trained soldiers to use them, and Ukraine, while having a much smaller, newer, less trained Army, has proven to be able to hold their own against a (former) superpower. It's really impressing. If only they had the same amount of soldiers Russia has, they'd be holding referendums all across southern Russia.

There is Absolutely, Positively No Humiliation: Russia absolutely intended this outcome. Just like the Russian retreat shortly after their 2022 invasion, this was All Planned. They have done it out of their Legendary Kindness and Humanity. The West has confused Russia's intentional sacrifice of these ships to reduce their overall running cost for conducting this war. Further, this also frees-up many sailors (those who managed to mistakenly swim back to the Temporarily Occupied Territories) are now Proudly serving (or served, may their soul rest in pieces), in (or under) the trenches. Those who didn't manage to get to shore, are "manning" the Double Secret Russian Black Sea Underwater Defensive Trenches. Everyone Serves Mother Russia.
Note that the President of Russia personally thanked Ukrainians for reducing his running cost for a Black Sea Fleet that was not serving him to his liking: E.g. Moscova couldn't actually roll-over children's hospitals, kindergartens, etc. Neither could a Kilo class Submarine such as Rostov On Don (which Ukraine helped upgrade it so that it can remain submerged indefinitely without ever needing to surface). So, Ukraine actually saved him the trouble and the cost of decommissioning these and many other Russian vessels, further saving him the salaries that he'd have to pay those sailors. Note that he is paying the sailors manning his new underwater trenches with fish, worms, etc.
And, as usual, the Western Media has Completely mischaracterized the whole Grain thing: The required Russian inspection of the Ukrainian grain shipments were very costly to Mother Russia: both in terms of requiring Russian vessels to perform the work, the sailors, the running cost of said operations, etc. So the current arrangement was always intended by the Genius Russian Leadership but the Stupid, Slow in the Head, Ukrainian and Western leadership took a long time to figure it out. And the Russian Leadership didn't want to give them "the cheat sheet" to make them sweat.
Remember: Mother Russia (especially the Kremlin) = Honest, Smart and Cunning. Everyone else = Lying, Sloooow and Stupid. Haven't you been watching RT?
