The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department conducted a homicide investigation in the 4200 block of Trailer Drive on Saturday night. This is located in north Charlotte. When officers arrived just after 11 p.m., they found a person dead. The victim was identified as 47-year-old Glandina Latamba Dixon.
CMPD described the nature of the Dixon’s injuries as “trauma” but did not specify the nature of the injuries. Sam Roary, 53, was arrested by CMPD’s SWAT team on Sunday. Roary has been charged with murder. He first appeared in court Monday morning, and no bond was authorized.
