Freighter was all the same from what discord was saying.
Even the way we start expeditions in No Man's Sky is randomized. And I swear, I have the worst luck always with this game. Watching you in the first 5 minutes you started off with a better looking character, a better looking spaceship, and a more attractive character than I did. I literally got the ugliest of all three. LOL!

I need some help from the knowledge pool ladies and gentlemen. I've never done multiplayer on this game before. I'm usually a lone wolf and I don't much care for a lot of interaction in my game world. But, for the sake of the optional objective, what do I do? Because I've turned on my multiplayer and I see people running to and fro, but like Bob said I don't see any frigates in the sky. So do I have to like friend request somebody somehow and ask them to play with me so that I can see their ship? How exactly does this work? I just need to hook up with somebody for 5 minutes so that we can step on to each other's bridge, get our easy rewards and then leave amicably. LOL.

So what I get out of this Expedition is that it is a tutorial on how to make a mobile base in your freighter. I looked at all the steps for each part and it is all stuff I was already doing 😆 I had built my freighter up within a few days of the Endurance update being dropped. All that said, It is still fun going through the steps to get a little more content. — I know many people don't use their freighters as a base so it makes sense to get us OG players out of our comfort zone and to teach new players how to use them.
Lol……lucky me got a gek freighter, and a God awful noob pink space suit. Somebody at HG doesn't like me, it appears.
Yes, bizarre the starship being in fire as if damaged, but is in perfect working order! I grabbed some ancient bones, made some money, and bought a nicer starship even though I know the expedition is really about freighters, travelling through space and planet atmospheres on fire was annoying.

FYI when you saw the ship on fire, it’s a bug. Just reload your save. It’ll fix then.
I was disappointed when on my 2nd system jump my ship changed. LOL and it was different again when I came back and reloaded my save.

The corners of the grow rooms – the plants can be harvested in each of the 4 corners – for about 400 carbon. (new feature change)
I got a short nose freighter
I took a more relaxed pace in the beginning. My first mission was to replace Ol' Smokey since I detest shuttles. I went straight to the planet with ancient bones and dug up a yon of them. Then I bought an Explorer and all of the supplies I needed to do phase one. To get some extra cash, I scanned everything along the way. All in all I spent about 3 hours and made about 4 mil and got a better ship to run around in.
I really like this expedition. It was cool to have a fresh start on the freighter instead of a planet.
Don't forget your twitch rewards in the anomaly you can claim your a class ships there and a class weaponry

How the heck are the Korvax the most popular race? They pale in comparison to the Vykeen. Also, I pulled a Gek as the starting race.
I got a Vy'Keen freighter. A pretty cool-looking one at that.
As the video progresses I wonder to myself just how long it will take for Bob to remember that he can teleport to his freighter.

I been really enjoy this one so far. Its pretty much just playing the game, but without hyperdrive for your snubs. I been taking my sweet ass time, making money and nanites and getting my S class everything. Lol
Its a good intro to freighter building for those who havent messed with the new system too.
I flipped some contraband for huge profit and ditched the smoking heap of old dishwashers they gave me for a starter ship ASAP and found an A class multitool pretty quick.
I should warn you that I lost what I was refining in two refiners when I warped.

LOVE your videos, Bob! Keep up the GREAT work! Tip for everyone: Like Bob said visit each space station to get your backpack upgrade and ALSO summon the Nexus and go there and get another backpack upgrade. Do this in every system you go to. 2 other tips: use all the FREE backpack upgrades that are given, as quest rewards, to upgrade your Cargo and Technology slots. (Those are the most expensive so use the free ones.) Also if you find any Drop Pods use those to upgrade Cargo and Tech slots as well. ** THUMBS UP BOB and DOUBLE HUGS **
2 months isn't enough time for us to build time machines to bring cave men to our time so they can experience this expedition..
I can't think of anything to complain about. A lovely expedition. Love starting on a freighter. Hope I can build planet side bases by the end. 🙏

There one guy hes based starts with number 35something and he placed bsse in each system you have to go full with plants and those storages that generate items for free 😉 just look for the bases starting with 35 or 32 😉
