A Langley, B.C. family wants justice after they say their family pet was mauled to death by an allegedly off-leash dog whose owner fled in the aftermath.
A.J. Tay, his wife and their children were on an outing to Second Beach with their dogs, including their multipoo named Sky.
Tay was taking a work call when he heard his wife and children screaming behind him.
When he turned around, he saw Sky clenched in the jaw of a much larger dog.

My takeaway here, 1 the if that was my dog that was attacked, the offending dog would be missing much of it's throat structure. And 2, how could the woman have gotten away?

This happened to me and my dog at a dog park once. My little weenie dog lived but he was chomped on quite a bit. The owner fled the scene as i got ahold ofmy dog who was bleeding and having a seizure on the ground… The guy just left… I couldn't believe it.. where is the human decency? my heart goes out to this dogs family..

I work at a dog hotel and 80% of people should NEVER own a bigger breed dog.
