As someone who has bloodborne as my favourite souls and second favourite game of all time, the people complaining are blowing it way out of proportion.
In my first playthrough I didn't do cainhurst or upper cathedral ward, neither did I do moon presence or amygdala.
It's okay that the guy didn't do literally everything, he did the majority of what the base game has to offer.
The need to farm for healing items and bullets is a big issue with the game so complaining about him using "cheats" to get his blood echoes is just so meaningless, everybody who's played this game more than once has done the cummmfpk dungeon for this exact reason.
The boss run backs are indeed tedious, obviously since he played elded ring first that's what he's accustomed to so it feels worse going back, whereas many of us started with these games and the elden ring stake of Marikas and sites of grace is just a nice QoL feature.
As for the time crunch issues I agree, he should have scheduled the stream for another time and got through the dlc and it would be nice for him to go back and fight the optional bosses, but it's not like the optional bosses he missed are even fan favourites like what paarl? Amygdala? Celestial emmissary? WITCHES OF HEMWICK?
The most he missed out on was cainhurst and again I didn't even do that until my 2nd new game plus as I had no idea it even existed and you can't tell me any normal player is figuring that out. Logarius and ebrietas would have been nice but that's about it.
I think the response to this is entirely overblown, he beat the game and did enough to have a perfectly reasonable opinion on it, which he does. He never said he hated it and he understands why it's some people's favourites. What more realistically are you asking for here this is just so silly.
