‘Near certainty’ the RBA won’t raise interest rates for August

Former Howard government minister Peter McGauran says it’s a “near certainty” that the Reserve Bank of Australia won’t raise interest rates next week when it makes its August decision.

This comes after it was revealed by the Australian Bureau of Statistics that over the last 12 months, inflation rose to 3.8 per cent from 3.6 per cent.

The RBA is expected to factor in the latest inflation numbers when it makes its next interest rate decision for August.

  1. kamala is 3/4 Indian from India and 1/4 Jamaican African. That makes her predominately Indian and she has always proclaimed her Indian heritage until now when she suddenly claims her African heritage as African American which she is NOT. Plus she spent most of her childhood in Canada so she is as much a Canadian as she is Jamaican and Indian and American.

  2. The government doesn't want to hurt the rich. They only want to destroy the working people. I can't wait for house prices and rents to sky rocket on this news. Homeless at 290,000 so far, let's get that to a million!
