Synopsis: A skeptic in Paradise, Earth pilot Bella Sway is sucked into a conspiracy to gain control of Moonhaven, a utopian colony on the Moon 100 years in the future.

Moonhaven centers on Bella Sway (McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler 100 years in the future who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community set on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. A skeptic in Paradise, Bella is sucked into a conspiracy to gain control of the artificial intelligence responsible for Moonhaven’s miracles and teams with a local detective to stop the forces that want to destroy Earth’s last hope before they are destroyed themselves.

  8. Looks like a repeat of John B Chalhoun's famous "universe 25" experiment involving mice, but applied to humans; with an audience that doesn't know how to do research. Really, does anyone actually take time to read scientific journals anymore?

    Allow me to explain with some tweaks: In a confined "system", in which no ideal of "evil" exists, everyone is given all that they need, everyone gets along, have plenty of "stimulation" to be active, how long would such a "utopia" exist? There is no way to tell. We can infer from the biological and natural ideals that things can take any sort of deviation. In that experiment, nature reached it's maximum threshold, and then broke down.

    I imagine, this show shows the same playing out, and I'm looking forward to watching it!

  29. We sure live in a bright future when the moon can be terraformed in less than 100 years. I mean if you can terraform the moon that quick then why are you even concerned about Earth? Just let it fall apart and terraform it back whenever you need to. I watched the first 8 minutes and I couldn't take it anymore.

  32. Ridiculous. Accelerate climate change making a series about climate change. Make that series sirrupstituously ideological by ignoring systems and institutions instead locating responsibility on individuals values and behaviour. Instead make the plot about how humans were naive to presume they can escape their inevitable dark side of being selfish, violent and destructive. And the moral of the story is that human dark motives from pain and suffering bring meaning and purpose. So in the end, just stopping emissions by changing institutions and systems would be denying human nature and removing the meaning from life. The ‘cost’ of preventing climate change is greater than the ‘cost’ of living with it. And the capitalists will keep getting their dividend cheques.
