Oh boy, Maliketh. Maliketh is actually such a good boss. His arena is peak, his theme is peak, his design is peak, his cutscene is peak, and his move set is peak. I love how his first phase is genuinely difficult and then he turns into an even deadlier version of the Black Blade. He doesn’t fight like any other boss in Elden Ring and provides a drastically different experience from everything else. After doing him hitless, I do believe that he’s one of the hardest bosses in the game and also one of my favorites. He fights so unconventionally and requires precision and excellence in both phases. I like the use of the parry mechanic through the Blasphemous Claw item, as it’s super satisfying to land and rewards quick reaction time. Overall, this boss is awesome, and I love him.
