Boosie revealed his long-standing admiration for Tupac Shakur. When asked about his favorite Tupac song, Boosie initially struggled to pin down just one, mentioning “Unconditional Love,” “Can U Get Away,” and “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” among his top picks. However, the conversation took an engaging turn when Vlad asked Boosie to recite his favorite Tupac lyric. Boosie energetically dove into a rendition of Tupac’s “Dear Mama,” vividly rapping a few lines from the iconic track.

Vlad highlighted how artists in other genres often remake classic songs and suggested Boosie consider creating his version of “Dear Mama” for his next album. Boosie was intrigued by the idea, and Vlad noted the potential resonance such a tribute would have in hip-hop, akin to Snoop Dogg’s covers of tracks like “Lodi Dodi.” The discussion concluded with an acknowledgment of the enduring influence of Tupac’s lyrics on contemporary artists like Boosie.

  1. CHANGES Is My Fav 2pac Song Because It’s Still Relevant… “Letter To My Unborn” is the Best Rap Concept to me and “Lord Knows” is also on my top 5 along with “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” I can’t even listen to that song without tearing up thinking about people that are no longer in my life

  2. People just don’t get that you don’t have to be hella lyrical and have crazy wordplay to be a great rapper. Pac was the most well rounded rapper ever. He literally was not bad at anything when he made music.

  3. Boosie don't really have to prove he's a Tupac song. And there are other rap covers. They redid rappers delight. Rap covers usually make no sense since rap songs borrow so heavily already from other music with all the samples.
