Saw this with my own eyes. Riding a Seattle bus downtown, coming off the King Street Station. This was about 2018 or 2019, before COVID. A street person entered the bus, did not pay. The bus driver said something to the guy. He said he had no money. A Good Samaritan handed the man a five dollar bill to pay the fare. The guy put it in his pocket, did not pay, and sat down.
That’s a union job. Use to be a well paying job. Now it’s just a rolling drug den. Too bad.
Five years ago – they were checking for tickets. But I knew that this would come to an end. They don't have enough staff because they refused the Fauci Ouchi.

Last time I was on a bus in seattle there was a naked guy eating a chunk of ham like an apple.

what made it worse, is when covid started, they made the fare free, and for to long, getting people to pay after that was a joke. Also seattle public school teachers tell the kids to not pay.
