Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I’m your host Paul and this video we’re breaking down Deadpool and Wolverine.

One of the most anticipated movies of the year is now here and in this video we’re gonna be giving maximum effort and going through it all. This is gonna contain easter eggs and spoilers as well as our review on the film and it’s ending. This is a love letter to the 20th century fox marvel films and yeah lots of things to talk about. We’ll also be talking about where we think things could be going and what we’d love to see in the future of the MCU.
Obviously there’s gonna be heavy heavy spoilers so if you don’t want it ruined then I recommend you turn off now. Now before we talk about the ending I feel like we have to go through the movie and talk about what built up to it. You kinda need to talk about the film as a whole to properly get into it as it all thematically connects together. The post credit scene sort of builds back off a scene from the middle of the movie so I think it makes more sense to do it rather than how we usually do.
As always Deadpool And Wolverine is super fourth wall breaking with the movie being meta from the start. It’s also told out of order early on with this being a plot device that they used heavily in the first film. The second film also had a prologue that narrated lots of things to us too and its great that we’re getting this again.

I noticed on second watch a few things
-Original ultron head in happys office
-the möbius strip model in happys office
-the constant motion machine Tony stops in iron man 2 on the shelf behind happy
-the leg that Wolverine and deadpool leave on I think may be the leg of iron monger from the back
-the machine that filmed human torch swearing and talking shit about Cassandra nova looked like K.E.V.I.N from shehulk
– the shield in the dirt reminded me of patriots shield
-nice pool is credited in credits as Gordon Reynolds
Another deadpool variant was credited as James Reynolds
-One of the other variants looked like a moon knight deadpool (konshue chose wade Wilson not Marc Spector) makes sense seeing the moon knight truck in the void.
-the guardians of the galaxy reference when Logan takes deadpools hand at the climax of the end fight
There were a few others but I forgot them

How does saving one universe by adding a wolverine from another, not destroy the other universe that Wolverine came from?
Everyone seemed to miss the fact that, the Wolverine from the alternate Universe, is the "Worst" wolverine, not for his failure, but for what he did in the wake of the death of his friends, aka HUGE killing spree against humans, including innocents. Also, given what he'd done, how is it he's free to sit at Marv's bar, a known hangout without anyone hunting him down, or sentinels breaking through the building to hunt him. How exactly does X-23 cut juggernauts ankles and head off? He's the Juggernaut lol. Tatum's Gambit = Cage's Superman.
Best line in the movie, folks missed. Wolverine says that he's responsible for so many grown men never growing up lol. About 2 percent of the theater got that one. Wolverine breaking the 4th wall.

This idea of Henry cavalier playing all these roles are starting to be overrated.
I don't know if the movie was any good. I just know I have had a smile painted on my face for 24 hrs and for about 2 hrs was reverted back to a 10 year old boy. This movie made me so happy and was totally worth the wait.

My only two issues were the fight scene with Logans adamantium skeleton. Its unbreakable metal but somehow Deadpool pulls pieces off the skeleton. and x-23 slicing juggernauts Achilles was bogus, he unstoppable and impregnable.

Finally seeing Gambit on screen and his power was fire. Specially after his death in x-97 always made me shed a tear. 😢

I don’t know why people are running with the narrative that Deadpool was vindicated by the end credits scene. He still got Johnny killed. Just because Johnny actually said those things doesn’t mean Deadpool HAD TO tell Cassandra. It was funny but he definitely got that man killed. Snitching just for the hell of it

Gambit left me rolling with his accent. Definitely my favorite cameo.
2nd favorite movie this year other than dune part 2
The movie is all about Deadpool and Wolverine. Nothing else. It misses the story, villian, the movie just focused on teaming up Deadpool and Wolverine. Nothing else. Don't get fooled. I have expectation on captain America and venom.

I really enjoyed this movie. The cameos are great but I wish Ryan could’ve gotten Terrance Howard to cameo as War Machine. That would’ve been another added epic surprise.

Westley snipes saying his ice skating line brought he back to that 10 year old kid watching the best thing I had seen since starship troopers. That line is how my friends would prove I’m not a shapeshifter 😂😂😂.
