This time around I’m showing you the fastest ways to level up crafting in new World. Hopefully this New World xp guide will teach you the best ways to get fast xp.
We cover each profession, so the fastest ways to get New World weaponsmithing xp, new world armoring xp, New World jewelcrafting xp, New World cooking xp, New World engineering xp, New World furnishing xp, and finally New World arcana xp.
There are a few tips and tricks you can use to level up fast in New World for each of these crafting trade skills.
The point of this video is to teach you the fastest ways to level up crafting before 1.06 because that’s when crafting gets hard nerfed, especially jewelcrafting and cooking. Right now this video was made in New World 1.05, and when the crafting nerfs go to the live server I will make an updated version that will show you the cheapest ways to get New World crafting XP after the nerfs.

Also there's no absolute guarantee the crafting nerfs will go to live, and if they pull that change and never push it to the live servers, then this guide will be the fastest ways to level each trade skill forever. Or at least until they DO change crafting xp at some point in the future.
You have no idea how crafting works if you think using the lower end items is cheaper, you are completely skipped of the bonus from refining. Also, the hammers/axes are the most efficient, not the swords. Edit- removed my strat so you dont make a video on it and ruin it for everyone that knows it.
How the hell can people afford this? The most I've had was 8k and I spent it on a house lol I need a guide to actually lvl without buying everything.
I can't stand these assholes. Instead of focusing on nerfs they should fix the outpost rush que's with cross server que's as well as many of the numerous unfished bugged or exploitable elements in the game.

Since everyone is rushing EXP right now, it could actually in theory be cheaper to level after the patch depending on the prices on your server guys. Keep this in mind
The server I'm on is completely dead and I've bought out all the refining materials. Unless I go manually farm chests for days I literally can't craft anymore. I'm talking only 90 people on during peak hours dead. Got everything above 150 though so there's that.
I've said this before… if you use CTRL + S, you don't need to click E to confirm. You just spam left click.
Currently leveling weaponsmithing & the only thing I’m buying to level it is flux & iron ore to smelt the star metal ore I farm myself. I find it cheaper than buying star metal ingots & for charcoal I’m a tank so I’m always max con so that isn’t a problem. I’m 175 right now & plan to hit 200 today or tomorrow. It’s taken me roughly 5-6 days so far.
Edit: Also being 200 smelting gives a good bonus when smelting the star metal ore.
Finished cooking off last night but don't have the coin or time to do jewel crafting. CBA, going on vacation

Just a quick tip, when you're mass crafting you can quick salvage by holding left ctrl and s and then clicking the item to salvage. It bypasses the "press e" function and saves a lot of time

I really hope they don’t nerf this crap. It’s already crazy enough. Yes I know, for all you die hard “ lol it’s so easy to get to 200..lol”. No, no it’s not. It’s hard to make gold on my server, it’s hard to gather mats ON MY SERVER. It’s fucking crazy and I’m at 326 hours. I have multiple ones at 100, that’s it.

Mats on my server are rocketing in price because of the rush to crank out trade skill levels before the patch. Good to know the patch is slightly delayed.
Uh this method is an extreme waste of motes which are super valuable in so many other ways: jewelcrafting and arcana to name a few. Definitely would not recommend this way.
When you craft real gear, you can either break it down and get a couple bars back (around 20% average for sword) and also get something worth selling some percentage of the time. So I like to apply an inherent 25-30% discount to crafting weapons versus the random components and consumables and that cannot be broken down or sold.
CTRL + S and click to quick salvage. No confirmation box + E press
Salvaging tip hold control and s and it's one click salvage
A tip for leveling cooking. Get your camp upgraded to t5 and use that to make hearty meals if you can’t find a t5 kitchen
What server are you on?
There's a checkbox for owned items, if you uncheck it you can see all the possible materials usable for a craft (for when you don't have them and want to see what other options)
For meals, you also don't need a Tier 4/5 kitchen if you have a Tier 4/5 campsite. You can just make one right outside town and crank out meals there. Also lets you avoid crafting fees. Only downside is you gotta carry your food, though generally I just grab my entire food inventoy, walk outside, craft, then walk back in and stick it all back.
