Actually, that arrangement (twins over triples) was first used by the US Nevada class battleships, the first of the "Standard" type, and the first to introduce the "All or Nothing" armor arrangement.
Maybe by the time of the Iowa class, you'll get your 1st modern light cruiser lol

Also, I don't know if you fixed it later, but you first constructed the Montana / Doria (Which I'll chisten as Montorias) with Max HE.
It seams like Youtube is deleting my comments, so attempt 2 đ if you could check your fire chance while doing refits and use superheavy shells that would be positively American. (with the ai armor scheme issue it might make battles a bit more competitive if you had to worry a little about flashfires đ looking forward to the next episode.

Had Aircraft for some reason never come about, in which case the carrier never happened. The US Navy would be running 16-inch gun BBs and a mixed bag of super cruisers as the core capital fleet. Because after WW1, the colorado's were seen as the beginning of super standards, and well, WoWs did a good job of showing it.
But I do question whether we would have used 18-inch guns due to testing we did after ww2 stating that the difference between Yamato and Iowa's guns was fairly close.
Though in my defense, that may be propaganda, so *shrugs*.

These new bb actually some what represents the South Dakota class of 1920 which is similar to a Pennsylvanias but they have triple 16in guns in a stander bb formate

The 1920's South Dakota class was going to be 47,000 tons full load, 23 knots on Turboelectric drive, four triple turrets with 16 inch 50 caliber guns, single 6 inch casement guns for secondarys, a 13.5 inch main belt, 3.5 inch main deck, and 18 inches on the turret faces.
They were laid down and around 30% complete when canceled by the Washington Naval Treaty.
You again missed a funnel slot on the main tower for your final funnel
Which would've allowed you to place the secondary tower on the raised deck and move the turrets back, shortening the citadel and giving you more free displacement, although I do like the twins over triples

As someone who has spent a decent amount of time in Fresno, a hideous cruiser seems fitting. To be 100% accurate to its namesake, it should cost twice as much to refuel and have crumbling internal infrastructure.

I live about 4 hrs south of Fresno and it has a lot of crime (mostly drug related) and is hot as hell in the summer. So yea the cruiser name fits the city.
I really wanted you to pull the main and sec towers tight around the funnel. It would have looked silly and not shortened the citadel that much, but it would have been unique
The Fresno class absolutely fits the city of Fresno.
