  1. Love the content as always. I've been meaning to to a run like this for a long time but ONI happens and I always get carried away. I think this will inspire me to make it happen. Keep up the good work!

  2. As far as I can read, domesticated Oxyfern are still more water efficient, needs no power and need less cooling then a electrolizer. While also acting as a Carbon Skimmer.
2-3 domesticated ones per dupe seems like a perfect supplement, without completely negating the need for a another source or leaving you without CO2.
You can use pumps and filters to make sure they have enough CO2/not too much O2.

  3. I started with a digger, researcher and cooker (all also ranchers or farmers) and ooooof, it helps a lot xD There's also a pocket full of oxygen bellow (500kg/tile), so it's also a pressure bomb. Looking forward for the next episode. Nice vid, Echo!!

  4. I once had a similar carbon dioxide bomb in one of my playthroughs. Dug it out without realizing until a few cycles later when I was like "where did all this CO2 come from?!". Ended up loading a save from like, 3 or 4 cycles back and just feeding it to my army of some 200 odd molten slicksters. Took them a few cycles to digest it all!

  5. Do the trees make oxygen? They should change the algae version of making oxygen. Should be something like feeding a tank with heat and light management. Also a bio resctor for methane using algae.

  6. I know this is 4 months old, however i'm just curious how exactly the oxyfern was nerfed? I only just started playing again recently ( Still learning a LOT about this game ). I started a colony on this planet recently and putting the oxyferns into planters ( I know this requires dirt / water ) upped their oxygen production from the 113g/s to almost 700g/s. So even though this takes extra resources does this not end up helping at all? Thanks for responding.
