Once called the “little Rome of Gaul,” Arles occupied an important strategic position at the crossroads between Italy and Spain. In 46 BCE, Julius Caesar founded a Roman colony in this city which had supported him in his long struggle against the Gauls. In time, the city changed and splendid Roman buildings were built, remaining as an ever-present reminder of the power of Rome.

Occupied Gaul? Revisionist history. Stop the WOKE nonsense. Gaul was conquered and expected to assimilate. Gauls were subservient until they were not. There is another part of the world suffering the same WOKE nonsense: attacked from river to sea, 3 times the locals crushed the attackers…they won, just like the Romans. It is not occupied. Can you guess?
Looking at the infrastructure in all these places to look at water storage drainage and cleaning… in passive non toxic drainage for small towns.
