If you’re new to my channel, I’m Edwardivan Labarca. I primarily create video games as it’s always been a dream of mine. I’m also pivoting into teaching developers how to make a professional game. It wasn’t always like this since Game Development is a very new concept to me. However, here are a few highlights on what has happened since I started:

• I’ve published my First Game, DodgeKing: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2086270/DodgeKing/?beta=1
• Worked for a Double-A (AA) Game Studio (Gladius Studios)
• Recreated Games for over 10 years (LBP’s Kirby, Mega Man, Pokémon)
• Received a Full Sponsored for GDC 2023 (Latam-2023 PRGDA Sponsorship)
• Collaborated, play-tested, and Improved Game Dev’s Designs (Titles such as – LunarLux and The Bunny Graveyard)
• Have upcoming Games releasing soon (DodgeKing Deluxe, Another TechnoMancer)
• Been involved with the local Game Development Community (PRGDA – Puerto Rico Game Developer’s Association)
• Currently a Professional Software Engineer (It’s not my Major)
…And I only learned how to write my first line of code about two years ago (2022).

Today, I’m making, selling, and teaching Developers how to accelerate their game projects by focusing on essential game design aspects, providing educational and programming tools to rapidly elevate games, projects, and am aggressive about making sure you get what you need.

I understand why the Game Industry is perceived as saturated, rough, and monstrous. However, I’ve seen warriors stand up to crushing obstacles. Whether it’s learning technical skills, making lifestyle choices to accelerate your project, or not gatekeeping how Game Development can truly be conquered, my goal is to help you reach new heights in this beautiful industry. Everyone can create great games, experiences, lessons, and more. You are full of magic and are capable of creating someone’s favorite thing.

To all the knights out there, we’re all here to tackle challenges no matter how impossible they feel.
